Our staff and volunteers are happy to answer any call for help or information, regardless of if you have an appointment scheduled.
We also can only provide funds for certain clinics. Please check our resource list to get more information on all of the abortion clinics throughout Arizona that accept AFAZ funds.

“I’m unsure of your process. What should I expect?”
The Abortion Fund of Arizona offsets the cost of abortion care by helping pay some of your bill at your abortion provider. We do not give funds directly to callers. We seek to connect as many people with funding and resources as possible.

We’ve laid out our step by step process to hopefully answer most of your questions. We want you to know that we take data and personal privacy very seriously. All data collected is encrypted, including anonymization and permanent deletion after our process has been fully complete. We will always prioritize community safety.

Leave your first name and a safe phone number for a volunteer to return your call

You can expect a call back from a restricted/blocked phone number within 24-72 hours.
Should you not answer, a volunteer will leave a vague voicemail informing you they will try back at another time.

Your volunteer will phone screen an intake questionnaire with you.
We use a specific formula based on the information provided in the questionnaire to determine eligibility.
Our goal is to help as many people as possible!

If you qualify for funds, distribution process will be explained.
If you do not qualify for funds OR the funds have run out for the month, then your volunteer will provide you with additional guidance on suggested next steps and resources that may be available with other organizations to financially support your abortion care expenses.
